The method for skin care is always inside out i.e. to get a healthy looking skin one must always start with a healthy diet. Naturally healthy skin will reflect both your physical fitness as well as your mental well-being. Always make sure that you are eating right and are stress free. There are many other health reasons such as hormones, genetics or medication that can affect your skin quality. Lack of sleep, pollution and exposure to sun also has adverse effects on your skin. To have a healthy looking skin there are easy and achievable tips for anyone.

Take the first step towards a healthy looking skin and modify your eating habits. Hydrate yourself; besides water you can also consume green tea and lemonade. Dark green leafy vegetables are highly recommended for glowing skin. Lightly stir fry vegetables in olive oil. If you wish you can add leftover chicken and few drops of lemon juice for extra taste. Wild salmon and nuts have omega 3 acids essential for healthy skin.

Citrus fruits are considered to be the best for promoting a youthful glow. You can eat oranges and Kiwi instead of drinking their juice. Vitamin C boosts collagen and prevents skin from premature aging.  Juices are high in sugar. Choose to snack on fruits and carrots; in fact grapefruit, guavas, bell pepper and strawberries are all high in vitamin C.

Avoid unnecessary exposure in the sun and dust. For beach outings always use good quality sun block. Massage face, neck and arms with coconut oil. You can mix coconut oil with drops of water and can apply on face and arms as a moisturizer. Coconut oil is known to have anti wrinkle properties and is a natural sun block. Regular massage with coconut oil will reduces fine lines on your face.

Clean face properly every day. Carefully remove all make up and gently scrub your face. There are good herbal products in the market. Use chemical free herbal products. Keep your face makeup free as much as possible.

Quit smoking for a healthy looking skin. Smoking absorbs water from body leaving skin dull and dry. Cut down on drinking. Only two servings of 8oz. wine are acceptable for women who want to look good forever!

Consider relaxation exercises, like yoga or simple stretches. Spend some time doing things you enjoy, like any hobby etc. as they are stress busters. If you are stressed out, the skin will age faster and look dull. Most importantly sleep well. Skin repairs its damage while you are sleeping. You must follow an eight hour sleeping schedule for a healthy and glowing skin.

Simply looking like a model will NOT qualify you to be called beautiful, and that is the honest truth.


Beauty is more than just the perfect hair, makeup, dress, teeth, skin and clothes. Yes, those things help make a woman look good. But beautiful is a class of its own – a class a woman like you can achieve.


Of course, looking good can help as you make your way toward being beautiful. So here are some tips to get from looking good to becoming beautiful.


Your crowning glory


You don’t need to visit the salon every week, but neither should you keep your ‘mane’ looking like a mat on your head.


Take care to keep your hair clean and shiny. On occasion (every 2 months or so), visit a hairstylist who can suggest a good cut that will suit your face and body shape.


Carry yourself like royalty
The idea is for you to be able to walk down a street WITHOUT shuffling your feet and with your head bowed down as if apologizing for your existence.


Push your shoulders back with your head resting squarely on your shoulders and stride! Walk as if every hall you pass is a runway – because it is.


You make the clothes (not the other way around)

Be realistic about your body shape. Not everyone’s got an hourglass figure (and guess what? Not everyone desires that either!). Since the 1950s, we have been concerned about major areas of body alteration and enhancement. Find out more about fat workouts that keeps you in good, healthy shape.


Don’t torture yourself by forcing your body into clothes that will not suit you. It is about as sad a thing as you could do to yourself. …love yourself! It is by far the best beauty treatment you can get. Develop a positive attitude on everything there is about you – from the way you think, to how you talk and of course how you look. People will recognize that there is something about you that makes you irresistible – and that is when you feel great about yourself, no matter what others think or say.
