Here is what you need to ask yourself first about hair removal treatments:

Where is the hair to be removed? Both generalized as well as specifically determine which area or if all areas are to be treated.

What level of intensity will you need? For some, hereditary factors contribute to the growth, re-growth rate as well as the thickness of the hair. Determine if you have situations where you will likely need more treatments than others.

Can you withstand a little pain? Some of the hair removal treatment options that you have do require some pain. For example, waxing and electrolysis are two methods of hair removal that you can consider. But, both of these do offer some pain, even though it is quite temporary. Can you handle it?

Your skin needs Vitamin C.  It is the truth whether you acknowledge it or not.  Vitamin C is necessary for producing of collagen: a strong connecting cloth, which, literally, retains us in the entire form. Yup, it keeps us together as a whole.  Without the collagen we would go to pieces, because this protein retains together the skeleton bones, it fastens muscles to the bones and does not give any opportunity for the internal organs and for the skin to leave its places.

A well known fact is that vitamin C can free us from some forms of the inflammation such as: psoriasis or the sunburn.  The real issue is not about taking vitamin C or not.  It’s about what type of Vitamin C to take.  In particular we want to pay attention to the solubility of the Vitamin C we are taking.

As said, the problem isn’t in the vitamin itself but in it’s solubility. The vitamin C solubility: whether it is dissolved in the water or in the fat, so it determines, into which part of the cell it can penetrate and as a result which part of the cell can be protected.

Natural form of vitamin C: L- ascorbic acid, is dissolved in the water. Therefore, although L – ascorbic acid is concentrated inside the cell, it cannot protect its shell from the free radicals. It also possesses strong acidic properties and sufficiently irritates the skin and then it rapidly decomposes and loses it’s force after 24 hours.

The ether form of vitamin C is the derivative from L – ascorbic acid with the fatty acid, isolated from the palm-tree oil. It’s also called palm acid. The ideal medicine for the skin will come out if we add a small quantity of palm oil to the molecule of vitamin C. In this particular case ether won’t irritate the skin and it is possible to bring that kind of vitamin C even to the open cut of the skin. So importantly that the ether form of vitamin C is capable to be dissolved in the fat; therefore it easily absorbs by the skin.

Thus the ether form of vitamin C is capable to penetrate the thin membrane surrounding cells. The membrane of cellular plasma itself consists predominantly of fat. As a result, the ether form of vitamin C will strongly protect against free radicals precisely that part of the cell, where they can cause the greatest harm.

The stability is another advantage of the ether form of vitamin C. That’s why it is possible to add this form into the creams and the lotions, and it will preserve the ability to act for months and even for years, completely without spoiling or losing it’s anti-oxidant effect.

Making our own facial is easy to do – we’ll just need to have some all-natural ingredients on hand. These ingredients are easy to find and are inexpensive to purchase at our local grocery store.  The trick is to have these ingredients readily available at home so we can give ourselves a homemade facial once a week.

Now, before we are able to apply our homemade facial scrub, we need to take off all our jewelry. Please pay close attention to removing any earrings we might have on as some of the natural substances we will be using do not react well with metal jewelry.  Let’s smooth all our hair back from our face by using a headband and if we do not have one, we can use an old bandanna. Using an old bandanna might actually be a better choice as we don’t have to be worried about getting it dirty from our facial scrub. Now that we have our hair out of the way, let’s wash our face with a normal cleanser to remove all traces of makeup, and be sure that when applying our facial masks, we follow all the instructions to the book. Don’t forget to set a timer, it will help us remember when to remove the facial scrub from our skin.

Here are some great facial recipes we can try at home:

Milk and Cinnamon Facial: This facial consists of four ingredients that we are most likely going to find already in our refrigerator and kitchen cabinets. In a bowl, mix one tablespoon of milk, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, one tablespoon of honey, and one teaspoon of vanilla. Spread the mixture onto our face and leave it on for 15 minutes.  Then rinse it off well with warm water.

Egg and Almond Oil Facial: This facial is made with a combination of two basic ingredients: one egg and one teaspoon of almond oil. Mix the two ingredients in a bowl and apply the scrub to our face. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse it off well with cold water.

Cucumber and Mint Facial: A cucumber and mint facial is just what our skin needs to be rejuvenated. You will need a blender for this one and four simple ingredients to make this mask come together. Into the blender, put half a cucumber, five mint leaves, one tablespoon of Greek yogurt, and one tablespoon of dry milk. Blend it well and leave this mixture on your face for 15 minutes, then rinse your skin well with warm water.

What are you waiting for… now go do your facial!
