Stewed Wood Ear Soup with Green Apple – Serves 2

Ingredients

  • Green Apple – 1 count
  • Rock Sugar – 100g
  • White Wood Ear – 100g (available at most Chinese supermarket)
  • Water 1500mL

Preparation

  1. Soak the white wood ear in water for 60 minutes until soft.
  2. Remove the seeds from the green apple and cut the apple into wedges
  3. Place the 1500mL of water in a steam able container
  4. Add green apple, dipped white wood ear and rock sugar
  5. Steam it for 30 minutes

Coconut Mango Dessert – Serves 2

Ingredients

  • Mango – 3 about 100g
  • Coconut Milk – 100cc
  • Sugar – 2 tablespoons
  • Cooked Mini Tapioca – 120g
  • Water 500mL

Preparation

  1. To make the tapioca:  Pour the cooked tapioca, water and sugar in a pot.  Bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.  Cool at room temperature and place in the refrigerator.
  2. Beat about 70g mango with a blender.
  3. Spoon 30g mango, mashed mango and tapioca into the bowl.   Pour coconut milk while eating
